I have been trying to figure out why my audio hasn't been working. I finally figured it had something to do with having slide shows with songs playing with them. When I have a slide show with a song the audio will never play in my main movies on my dvd, but if I make a dvd without slideshows, the audio plays.. Any suggestions on what the hell could be going on?

    Different audio formats.
If you use mp3 for the slideshow, the player thinks the whole disk is mp3, (if you start with the slideshow) so no audio during movies.

But I encode the mp3 into AC3. How do you have a slide show with songs and have the audio in the movies?

I also had problems hearing no audio when i exported. My project consisted of several short videos and a slide show with music. Most of the videos played no audio, the ones that did play audio, including the slideshow, were in the same VTS. After much playing around with the audio files themselves with no success I placed each item in its own VTS, where all my menus were VGM. This worked perfectly although I needed to add a blank menu to each VTS with a 0 (a/v) timeout linked to the appropiate submenu, so I could use the menu button link tool.

    Hope this helps
