Why is it I can back up my movies onto dvdrw and I cant onto dvdr. They are both the same brand disk but only half of the movie, if that, will get copied onto dvdr. I have cut out all the extras and it is well below required space for this type of media.
Sceneit , Welcome to the forum. What is the name of the movie you are doing. Also what are the system specs of the computer and include the burner's name and model # along w/ the firmware version the burner is using. Please also include the the name brand of the blank media you are using. D/L DvdinfoPro ( free and you can Google for it) and do a media test to see who the real manuf of those disks are. Please post back those results for us to look at.
