Has anyone seen this error message? When I click on "Source" for the movie folder, DVDRB gives me an error condition "DVD Rebuilder experienced an error reading IFO.[19:52:24] 00032 00006" What does this mean? I load DVD Shrink and Shrink loaded the whole movie without problem. Is this an indication of missing something?
You need to rip the movie down to your hard drive before opening it with DVD-RB. I use DVDFab Decrypter or RipIt4Me/DVD Decrypter depending on the difficulty of the protection. From there you will use DVD-RB with your chosen encoder to do the rest. DVD-RB is not a protection and region code stripper, it is just a one click encoding software.
Ripping is not the problem. I have done many backups. For this particular instance, I used both DVD Decrypter & DVDFAB Decrypter. The movie I tried to back up is the movie I have which is Matrix II. I want to test out DVDRB on a Dual Xeon with HT to see how much the transcode time will reduce. I think I narrow it down that DVDRB only works with American OS like XP English. The Dual Xeon system I installed is with a Chinese XP SP2. I installed DVDRB on another system exactly the same procedure but with English XP. I tried to changed the Regional & Language setting on Chinese XP and got another Error message something like "Invalide procedure or call".
