@jaildogg Have u tried after u get the video TS file to go and burn it with DVD Decrypter or CloneDVD 2 or any burning software??? It seems u have done everythin but put it on DVD with a proper program... U could even try Unlead DVD Movie Factory 2 or 3
jaildogg, I need your help since I also have DVDlab Pro and TMPEGC. what is the step by step of convert VCD file into DVD file? I've read so many instruction and I am so confused because of overwhelming information. Thanks for you help if you can. na
so, all I do is use dvd decrypter instead of using the burning program that comes with tmpeg or dvdlab pro??
You might want to try making an image file of the files with ifoedit. Then burn it with your handy iso burning program ie. dvd decrypter. This makes it pretty easy to check your disk before burning if you have emulation tools like daemon tools or alcohol.
All you have are video_ts files or the VIDEO_TS folder? You can use IFOEdit to test whether your authored DVD will play. Load video_ts.ifo into IFOEdit and then click on "DVD Play". This will simulate an actual DVD player. If it gives you a warning about an invalid label, ignore this. You can add a label later on. Also, when you burn how are you doing it? You have to burn both AUDIO_TS and VIDEO_TS folders. Make sure you are not just burning the files as a data DVD.
Well, at first I used to use the burning program that came with dvdlab pro, when that didnt work Id use nero 6 Id use dvd video, add files to video ts folder and burn.
Wow I didn't make much sense in that other post of mine, let me be a bit more comprehensible this time. From my understanding jaildogg you took an avi file and converted to mpeg2. At which point your file should probably either be .m2v and .mp2 files or a vob, then plugged those into dvdlab (whatever the files are as long as dvdlab accepts those files all the same). After dvdlab got done with those it should output a few files in a VIDEO_TS folder which should include video_ts files and a vob of some sort. You stated which leaves me, and apparently jaguargod wondering if you have a video_ts folder and no files (which would seem sorta large) or just a video_ts file which isnt the only file you need. Also have you tested the video files output by dvdlab? or for that matter the xvid file, although I would guess that one works. You mentioned you burnt with nero, after testing the video file (i would reccommend following jaguargod's instructions on that) you can burn the files with the settings you mentioned, dvd-video and then make sure to place all files inside of the video_ts folder (don't put the video_ts folder into the video_ts folder). I don't think nero would allow that, but just trying to cover all bases. Another also, what type of disc are you burning the video onto? I would reccomend a standard dvd-r disc they're compatible with most players. Well I hope that helps a bit more
