dvds crashing

    all the dvds i have backed up all crash about 30 mins in to the films is there a program or something to sort this out . i have now started to use dvd + now and gone a way from - i think that must of been my prob cheap dvds but i just need to no can i save the ones i have done ty

    Yes, you can back up your original again using decent media. + or - r isnt really the issue, its the quality of the disc.

    As far as the back ups youv already done, make sure the discs are clean and try them. Poor media has been known to die over time.

    You can backup your backups using dvd decrypter (iso read iso write)

    i have tryed to back up the backs but keep geting errors and now my pc will not play eney dvd so looks like i am nacked. i have cleaned the all and still get the same prob i no not to use cheap dvds now ty eneyway

    If you are using poor quality media, you'll get a CRC error.

    Any? not even store bought dvd's?

    Yea... poor quality media. What burner are you using?

    Also when buying media, check your standalones compatibility. See which media is most compatible

    dont no what u mean m8 sorry i am shit at this dvd stuff its like i just downloaded spiderman2 and i am haveing probs going from avi to vob

    downloaded movies is considered pirated material :(

    if u not a loud to down load stuff y is it on the net and all the programs to go with it

    may be u can heilp with this i have just downloaded a film of me kids from me video cam . on me hard drive theres two cds cd1 and cd2 but the tmpge can not see eney thing in there do u no y . i have whatched it all on pc i just want to put it on to dvd

    avi but the cd1 is half fall of rar files and the other half is vcd and cd2 is the same but it plays on pc with no probs
