I have a Samsung DVD player, about 2 years old, cheaper type model. Problem is, DVD's are now freesing towards the end of every movie. I tried cleaning the discs as well as the player's lens but no luck. Is it time to just replace the player or can I do something else to fix it?
Are they original or copies? If copies could be due to the use of poor quality media, burning too fast or the use of paper labels on the burnt media. El cheapo no name Chinese players generally more reliable and tolerant of poor media compared with name brands.
I have a sanyo that freezes up for a second on my burnt disk but they play fine in my computer and I use TY02 CD-R disk and they will show as a good burn when I check them in dvd speed test so I think my player just don't like the burnt disk.
