I have burned over a hundre movies with no problems. Then, last week my Sont Dru-500AX started burning or scratching deep grooves into my Verbatim DVD+R when burning a movie. I have tried other brands with no problem and even burned ~30 of the Verbatim DVD+r with no problems. Now every time I use one of these disks I get deep grooves in the DVD. I even burned the same movie on all 3 media that I have and only the Verbatim was damaged. Of the other 2 one was a DVD+R and the other a DVD-R.
The DVD's are clean and there doesn't appear to be anything on the DVD trey.

Any ideas why it's just scratching this one media??_X_X_X_X_X_[small]Windows XP Pro

Does this belong in here? I think not.

    Paul.

PS : It could possibly fit in DVD-R media, but I think it should live here in Hardware :)
