dvds r same brand but only 1 works in dvd player

    i used the same brand of dvd to back up my dvds but only 1 of my dvds will play in my dvd player. they will all play on my computer fine but only one will also play on my dvd player. can anybody tell me why this is? i always use dvdshrink and nero.

    What brand are you using? Crappy media are hit and miss.

    Are they +R or -R? So long as you bought quality media -R will work on 99% of players. +R is a bit tricky. If you're burner has an option to booktype +Rs to DVD-ROM kick that in.

    And make sure you are not burning too fast.
    ...but I agree with Unolord. Sounds like it could be Cheap Media.
