dvds will play on some players and not on others?

    I have copied quite a few movies recently using dvd decrypter, shrink and nero. They all play great in my dvd player but yet the movies constantly freeze in other dvd players.
    Is there something else I can do to make the dvds play in any dvd player? Is that normal?

    That is one of the challenges of making this. You can try and research the compatability of each player, or you can try some different types of media. I ended up using Taiyo Yuden and Ritek -R media. That seemed to resolve my problems. The biggest problem I had was my brothers new Sony DVD player. That thing is picky!

    I think you're right too.. changing the media type might help some. I was reading alot of the threads here and it seems Memorex would not be a good choice and that's what I have been using. Thanks for the info!
