DVD's with menus and extras to .divx container format? How?

I've read about it being possible.. and I've read about using an intervideo program to do it (didn't work, because the menus didn't have the same language encoding - they didn't have a language encoding) but HOW do you do this..

Reason is, I just started using a mac and found front row, setting it up as a media center and it would be really nice if I could encode all my tv episode dvd's into .divx format so when I select "disk1" the whole disk would come up with menus and extras and all the episodes

Thanks, I'll try it, intervideo dvdcopy does do what I'm looking for, but all of the tv episodes have no language for the menus and every title has to have the same language file to put it all in the same container. (If anyone knows a workaround that'd be great too)
