If the standalone players are not DivX certified - they cannot play AVI files. The source files can be converted to DVD format using DVD Flick.
making a dvd today using dvd flick at the below normal setting to get the best quqlity ran for 4 hours then gave up the ghost with an error saying failed to reserve track no more track reservation allowed, what does this mean .also dont know if this is the right place but my new laptop is windows 7 pro, with a lot of trouble got virual ps and win kp mode loaded primier but cant detect my camera.sony trv20.any ideas.leo
Was the error during the conversion or was it trying to burn a disk. I don't recall seeing that error before - except during a burn. If it occurred during the burn stage, then it means the conversion was completed. If the conversion stage was completed, then the DVD files should be in the output folder (or an .iso if you opted for that). You can run the burn again by running ImgBurn (which is in the installed files folder of DVD Flick).
