dvdsanta....advanced options help

    in the "advanced settings" tab, theres two options for a "MPEG quantize matrix", "mpeg standard" and "Animation". what in the world is a "quantize matrix" and which one is best quality?

    "animation" says "quantize matrix for high contrast footage, (cartoons, animations.) will using this option for a regular movie create a better or worse image?
