Yes, I got a couple of videos from my family members and I wanted to put them on dvd. What they sent me were all in avi format. Dvdsanta did great all the way through but when I put the dvd in home dvd player it gave me a green screen from the beginning to the end. I get the sound and all but still no screen and I tried it twice. Does anyone know what's wrong and have had the same problem?
AVI is not a DVD file, your gonna have to convert it then burn it to a DVD, Id reccomend WinAVI, for its speed and quality. If your familiar with torrents download WinAVI, if not youll have to pay for it. After you convert it burn it with Nero or your DVD burning software of choice, good luck. Im not familiar with DVDSanta as I hear it sucks, so i cant comment on that.
@ noobers: dvdsanta doesnt suck it does what its intended to do but is very strict in what you can do. @ Hersh8302: your avi needs to be converted to an mpeg2 format.Below is an encoder, which is better than winavi in my opinion and also free. http://www.filepedia.com/video_software/dvd-r_tools/vso_divxtodvd_free.cfm try it out and if you have problems or dont understand something, just repost and help is just around the corner for you guy
