Hello all. I recently downloaded a copy of the full version of DVD Santa v 4.0, but when I went to encode my video files before burning, Windows displays that there's an error and that the program must shut down. I figured that maybe this was just due to the fact that I got this from a torrent, so I decided to get the "Demo" version from their actual site. However, this also resulted in the same thing. Does anybody have a fix for this?

not sure if this will help , but did you restart your computer after installing santa? its been so long since i have used it i dont really remember if it prompts you to reboot.

if you really need a good converter, i found that DivxtoDVD works alot better, it doesnt stretch the movie out to the full 4.7 gigs.

it works with most formats not ALL but a heck of alot more than santa

I think I did, but it's okay. I just use nero nowadays to make all of my dvds. Thanks for the help though.

If you have NVE3 or NV4 in Nero, there's little need for DVDSanta. Also, if you didn't thoroughly clean out the first version of DVDSanta (from the Torrent), then you may have left the original problem. Normally DVDSanta doesn't pose any problems as far as loading and running in a Windows environment.
