whats up everyone i have been encoding and burning d/l movies with DvdSanta since I started with torrent files and almost every movie I download seems to have a double widescreen effect. Meaning that the black bars below and above the picture are double the size they should be. Has anyone else had experience with this problem? Is there a specific option in DvdSanta to change this? I have tried just about everything within the program. I also get the feeling that there are better programs out there, anyone have any suggestions? Thanks in advance.
Suppose you have set everything right in DVDSanta, the problem may then be codec related. Try download and install K-Lite Codec Pack (full or mega version) to see if that helps. You may also try encode with e.g. VSO DivxToDVD (free version) to compare the results. Both programs are downloadable from this site. Good luck!
thanks for the help i will look into that after i get back from work. i have used divxtodvd but i had trouble burning to disc with it.
