I convert a video file from the net to dvd, with DVDSANTA 4.0, but can't play back on my dvd player machine. I could play back on the computer but then no sound. Anyone know please help.
Dear Heul, You first have to check what went wrong. Try encode with DVDSanta without burning. Then play the movie from the harddisk to see if you have sound.
I'm having this same problem. However, my DVD will play in my player I just don't have any audio. Can you please help this newbie?
1) What is the format of the original video (e.g. mpeg, avi)? 2) Which program did you use for encoding and burning? 3) Did the video have sound after encoding but before the final burning?
The movie is flightplan. It is an avi format. I used mp3 direct to download it and tried burning it with the free version of dvdsanta. If I play it on the media player before dvdsanta, I have sound. Once it goes through dvdsanta, I lose the sound.
In that case, you may try encode with another program (e.g. VSO) first: http://www.afterdawn.com/software/video_software/video_encoders/vso_divxtodvd_free.cfm Good luck!
