Do you need to extract the movie first, sounds like you have the sample?

Yes but 90% of avi are in rar format and need extracting first, will none play in VLC, that plays almost anything. Beginning to sound like an MPAA lure, what movie but make sure you post NO LINK? Read some comments at the sites, has anyone been successful with this? And if you're not, use PeerBlock or some type of IP blocker, not 100% but better than nothing (60-70%).

Kopec, rar is just like a zip file to compress the size of the file. Download WinRar to unzip it and then the avi file will show up and you can play it if it is real. When you use WinRar if it unzips to another rar file it is a fake. (I speak from experience on this one.)
