I have a standalone aspire a091 dvd recorder.. dvd shrink will never open a dvd+r disc recorded by this unit if their is more than 1 title on the disc. If i have a disc with 3 titles,i can use IFOEdit per the forum help to extract an individual title from the disc without any problems... However, if i had i recorded a dvd+r with 4 or more titles, this process doesn't work.. i need help please!!!! a 3 title disc will load in dvd decryptor with vts 01 vts 02 vts 03 and pgc submenu under each vts.. however, with a 4 title disc dvd decrypter loads it completely different!!!! it has only 1 vts_01 (and 12 submenus directly under it in 1 tree) pgc 1 pgc 2 pgc 3 pgc 4 pgc 5 pgc 6 pgc 7 pgs 8 (and so on to 12) pgc 6 pgc 12 are listed as only 1 second I just don't know why their are 12 pgc's with only 4 titles... ??? and when i try to select only 1 pgc and save it in .ifo mode it gets to about 10% and gets a read error and hangs (i click on skip errors and it just hangs and stops responding).. i tried to load the disc into IFOEdit and it will hang too.... any suggestions??? this seems very very strange to me and i don't know how to extract the 4 titles from the disc.. the dvd has a video_ts folder and only lists 1 .bin file @ 1GB even though there are 4 each @ 1GB..... Can anyone out there help me with this???? Thanks Crystal
hi so you have a 4 film or 4 title dvd+r made by a standalone dvd recoreder? and you want 1 title or film off it? well i would locate all the vobs for this film and place them in a separate folder (play each vob to see the film) then use ifoedit to make new bup and ifo files to make a single film/title dvd up. no idea why you got a .BIN file in there?????????????????????
Use DVDDecrypter to rip it to the hard drive first and then reauthor with shrink. You can preview each title to make sure what you have.
