DVDshrink Error : Invalid Files

    Hi all,

    I have just downloaded a vob file size 7.36gb. When I open DVDshrink and browse for the file, the main folder comes up, but no VIDEO_TS file shows up. An error message then comes up:

    "DVDshrink has encountered an problem and cannot continue, Invalid Files".

    Is this a common problem?

    No. People who rip and upload stuff usually know better and include the necessary VIDEO_TS.ifo.

    You can get it back to DVD compliance (it will load in DVD Shrink) if you split the source into 1024MB chunks using VStrip then create new IFO files using IfoEdit.
    Takes about ten minutes.
    Other methods can be used (demuxing and remuxing) but I found that they create out-of-sync-problems.
