I used AVS2DVD to make a dvd set of files - audio_ts and video_ts. Then I went to Imgburn to burn it and it said it was too big. So I went to DVDShrink and it said that it couldn't read the file. 'Failed to read. Parameter incorrect'. The file it named was the Video_TS.IFO The files on disk play fine as a dvd via VLC, just point it at the root dir and it plays, no problem. I can't go any further until I can shrink this file, I think. Can anyone help?
See if it will open a copy of the problem folder containing the files using PgcEdit. It may offer to correct any problems it sees, you should allow this. http://www.afterdawn.com/software/general/download_splash.cfm/pgcedit
DVD IFO is a very small file (no more than 1MB), if you import a IFO to media player like VLC, it will detect and load in the real video file. However not all apps can read videos like so. If your source video is unprotected, try Handbrake or MakeMKV. Otherwise just try some similar decryption tools like DVDFab, DVDAid, or so.
CAN'T POST A NEW TOPIC! I have a question about DVDShrink but can't find anywhere that would allow me to create a new topic. I have registered. What is the exact address where I can find that link please?
