DVDShrink is fine but nero fails to burn

I have been using DVDShrink3.2 and Nero 6.3 to copy my dvds now all of sudden, DVDShrink still reads the files ok but when it tranfers over to nero to burn them, nero always spits my blank disks out and says an error has occurred and has failed to burn. I have not changed anything, have even bought the same disks that I have already burnt about 30 dvds onto but now i can get nero to burn. have uninstalled and re-installed both DVDShrink and Nero but no luck. attaching a log from nero -

first off, try using better media. Those CMC Mags will eventually give you trouble... oh... you're having trouble..... ok.....

[bold]KEY_HARDWARE_ERROR[/bold] well.... did you do a firmware update? why I am asking this .... this is a good indication that your drive is going bad. how new is it and what else did you do to it?
