are you reauthoring. Menus won't work with reauthor.

What burning program are you using.

the only way in shrink is to compress the extras to still frame and get rid of the sound in them.

    Get the latest Shrink
    1. Open the disk
    2. Click re-author
    3. Drag the VTS-1 folder over to the dvd structure side, that is the menus and scene selections
    4. Then drag the main movie file over
    thats it!
(Remember you can always play any file to see what it is)
I always just grab the menu and movie files hope this is what you were looking for

does that produce working menus when you reauthor with the new shrink. I have not seen any other reference to that. I may have to give it a try.

    Sup, yuedana:
    RE-AUTHOR
Everything works perfectly for me, menus and the movie file only. That way the movie file doesnt loose to much.
    Spiderman,
the movie file is 5431 mb
re-author you only shave 968 mb off!
if you open the disk and use automatic settings with only your language settings for the subpictures the movie file is only 2123 mb 54.2% compression... Thats why i always re-author i think its the most bang for your buck lol!

six.6.six, I read on Shrinks site that the menu problem in RE-AUTHOR was still the same as previous versions. Are you sure the menu is still active? If you only have the main movie pulled over, what are you using the menu to pick from? If I want full disc with shrink, I remove unwanted audio, set compression on menu and extras to about 50% and movie as high as possible. Then burn. Movie is usually about 70 to 75% and everything works without any re-authoring. Just my way.
