Hi Ladyday, Had the same problem using 321 DVD X copy. It seems that one of the industry giants put a bullet in their DVD which caused your problem I am sorry to say, I just went on to a new software program.

If you have problems with Xcopy activation go here and read on how you can get extra activations. Be aware that the company that does Xcopy is no longer in business, there will be no updates. You may want to think about moving on to newer programs, many of which are free.

Free software is DVDFab Decrypter to rip, DVD Shrink will compress your movie to fit on a 4.3g single layer disk. DVD Decrypter will burn your output file, or Nero if you have that will burn. Here is a guide on how to use, and a link to the software. There is no spyware/virus in any of these programs.

You may want to add VobBlanker to the software as this may be needed for some newer protected movies that need the blank/unreferenced cells cleaned out of them. VobBlanker is available from the sw link I gave.

Guide on using VobBlanker and DVDFab Decrypter here

You may want to use the new program RipIt4Me it will do all the new protections it works with DVD Decrypter, FixVTS and DVD Shrink.
