Basically ive just got new HDTV (Samsung 40" LCD - http://www.comet.co.uk/shopcomet/product/565520/SAMSUNG-LE40B530P7WXXU/tab/specification )
and I want to watch streams etc through it. Ive made a few enquiries on what to get but still a bit confused.
The TV has got 3 female ports on the back, 2 labelled HDMI and the other DVI but all look exactly the same.
My PC has got a female DVI port on the back with what i can see is 28 pin holes, 24 on top and 4 on the bottom.
Can anyone advise me on what cable to get?
Ive heard and read that i might need a seperate cable for the audio, will this be the case for me?

Any help will be much appreciated...cheers

Cheers scum101, thats certainly answered a few questions for me.

Could you explain a bit more on what you meant by but be aware that the dvi connector on the pc may be input only

    Cheers again

I have a DVI port on the back of my PC, and HDMI port on the back of my TV, i've recently found a converter that plugs in to the DVI port of my PC and has a HDMI output on the opposite end.
Is it just the case of purchasing a HDMI lead and connecting one end into the back of my TV (via the original HDMI port), and then the other end into the converter situated in the back of my PC (via the HDMI output)? Will this provide me with audio aswell?

Here is the link for the converter bearing in mind this is just a cheapy version to experiment with!

Any advice or info much appreciated, cheers

Sorry Leroy I followed the Link to your TV (very Nice BTW),On the topof the page It says 4 hdmi Connections and in the specs it gives 3 ,so i went looking for a pic of the back of the tv,hence the model number of the TV , to make sure i was looking at the exact one you got (as its not always whats on the website),
