    Hi,

I'm having a problem with Nerovision. I want to brun some avis (dvix's) to DVD but when I add the files to the project the little preview pic that appears when I add an mpg doesn't show up! When the screen with the remote control appears there's no video playback either - much in the same way that when I play the file with WinMedia Player I get sound but no pic.

I tried to burn the project anyway and got the message, "Unable to prepare data for recording:prepare session failed:transcoing of videos failed"

I have the GSpot utility and it said the file I'm trying to burn is a codec - div3. Name - DIVX 3 Low Motion. *codec installed!

When I play the file through Nero Showtime, it works perfectly!

Please, someone advise me! I'm at my wits end!

    Thanks!

I would uninstall all codecs from your computer and install the K-lite codec pack.

Also, what version of Nero are you using?

I installed the K-Lite codecs (which then uninstalled the DIVX I already had). But still no joy!

    I'm using Nerovision 4.1.0.4.

    Thanks

    Try VSO's ConvertXtoDVD.

I just got it, and it works GREAT!

Just a suggestion here - use Cyberlink power producer to create/edit you avi movie, save it in DivX format with the 6.1.1 codec then pop the result into DivX Converter and modify the output settings.

I get great quality light weight DivX files as a result.

I would not bother with Nero - in Ver 6 it creates big DivX files and seemingly there's no way to control or modify the end result!
