    i got clonecd 5.2.9.1

for some reason it doesnt burn any games successfully.

it burns the lead in and stops. and stays at 0% until i close it then it becomes non responsive and i have to turn off my computer manually

    if anyone can help thanks

what discs are you using, and what speed are you trying to burn at?.also have you set your 111d to master not slave..and i have read that some people didnt get a successful burn until they had set there region code to a region (usually region 2) via dvd playback

try these things,it may help...if that doesnt work then could be a faulty pc ribbon or worst case a faulty pioneer 111d,have you burnt anything 100% including a dvd movie or data?

you should be able to change the region code on dvd writer by putting in a region 2 dvd and playing it then it should ask you to set it to a region and tell you that you have 4 times left to blah blah, set your region code this way..or to check its region, open My Computer, right click on the drive, click properties then double click again on the drive, choose Dvd Region and it will tell you there, iand if you want you can make a region selection there..either way what ever you think is easiest

it sounds like your set-up is wrong.its set to master? and have you another dvd rom or burner to test the pc ribbon with? or its region locked out..worst case is your p111d is faulty.try the above ideas

that could be your problem having your burner and harddrive running off the same ribbon.i think i had mine set like that before and it gave me no end of trouble...is your burner connected straight to the motherboard or are you using a raid card

the pioneer 111d 1.29 firmware is your problem, they found out that 1.29 firmware was causing open tray errors for 360 games down grade to 1.23 and youll be fine

theres nothing wrong with the correct 1.29 firmware, there is a few dummy ones out there.i have had no problems with mine after the upgrade and wouldnt burn correctly with the 1.23...and further more once you upgrade a firmware to a higher version it cant be reverted.

stick with the upgrade..not that you have much choice now its done, besides you say all is working now so i think that proves that!!

maybe it can but makes no sense to downgrade when the correct working 1.29 firmware works perfectly well ... the address to get it is on here on a different post.

Ya, you can't have 2 masters on the same cable. If the hd is master then set the burner to slave.
