WEll i bought a pioneer dvr 112D to replace my LITONE in my external USB drive (liton's wasnt burning as good as i needed it to burn and one of my players complained) anyway, i swaped out the drive in my 2.0 enclosure... But now when i run IMAGE BURN it burs at 1.8x and device buffer is at 2% the whole time burns take 30 mins to complete. any one have any idea why this is? (litone burned at 7x no problem with 100% buffer)
check and make sure the drive is in DMA mode and not in PIO mode, you can fix that buy uninstalling the IDE controllers rebooting and let windows reinstall them or use this guide http://forums.afterdawn.com/thread_view.cfm/260038
