Dynex DVD Rom Firmware

    Hi all
    I bought this cheapo DVD Rom Drive from Ebay.
    Nero Test Drive Reads it as a DX-DVDR100 FW-0052.
    It will not read any burnt DVD's. Although it will read regular DVD's just fine and pretty fast at ripping them. I think a good flash will help, but i cant seem to find any firmware for it anywhere.
    Any thoughts ?
