Howdy All, I have fixed over 200 xboxs via IR bga rework machine. This is the second box that is kicking my butt. From what I have gathered , E73 is ethernet failure via the southbridge. The ethernet jack itself is seeded and checked with a meter. This box has been worked on by a previous tech and his POOR attempt at a 12v mod made the box red ring with error 0001 - that is voltage problem. I removed his shit hack job and now am back to e73 error. I have reworked the GPU , RAM and Southbridge. No Avail . Any Ideas or toss the box ? ( Its a 2005 model)
toss it. doesnt sound worth it due to age and previous history of the box. unless your up for a challenge....
