Hey everyone and thanks ahead of time! I have played around with EAC after downloading it and cannot figure this out on my own..maybe it's not possible, or I don't see how/where to do it. Is it possible to use EAC to take commercials either out a cd disc in the drive or a .wav file on the computer drive? If this program will not do this, can someone please direct me to a freeware program that will, as I just need this for a couple of things. Don't need anything fancy for everyday use. Thanks again, much appreciated. To add to this. Maybe Audacity will work too? Basically, I have a 90 minute .wav file on my computer. I recorded a Rockline show, but need to get rid of the commercials and cannot figure out how after looking at these two programs. I either feel really stupid, or these won't work.
I ended up doing some more searching myself and found 'Wave Splitter' Fantastic! Exactly what I need and so easy! If you are looking for a program to just cut something, or a bunch of somethings, out of a .wav file, this is it. Let's you listen to the track as you are doing it, move to where you want to listen to while still playing and when you get the the point where you want to start and end, there is a button for each of these. Then you just hit another cut button and it puts that one on your hard drive.
