Eac normalizing

    ok, i put normalizing on from eac settings (if less than 90% and more than 98% then normalize), put my log still gives lower peak rates... ? any idea?

    Maybe it gives the peaks before normalizing. You might want to check with a wave editor like audacity.

    Anyway using normalization is not recommended. You get equal peak values but perceived loudness won't be equal at all. Besides, normalization causes truncation distortion or added dither noise (inaudible in most cases but still a degradation).

    Better use mp3gain if you rip + encode to mp3, replaygain if you encode to something else or wavgain if you just use plain .wav format.
