I have tried to get my mic on my new computer to work for the first time. The sound is on the MOBO. When I tried to get into the audio card utility I eaccess violation error. I suspect that is at least the tip of the iceburg.

I have emailed theh support and have not heard back in 2 days. I am just wondering if anyone can give me some pointers. I figure it is either a memory access issue or a hardware issue. I am hoping the card is trying to access memory something else is using.

It might be a hardware issue. It is out of warentee and they may not be selling these anymore. I would rather live with no mic than swap out the MOBO if I could find one or even install a new card in one of my precious slots. It only came with 2. I pipe audio in maybe once or twice a year. I would rather use a different computer for audio capture.

If I can fix it easily that would be best for me.
