hey i had the same problem too i use divx to dvd converter to convert any downloaded movie and then burn the file with nero recode. divx to dvd converter works for formats besides divx as well
most movies are avi files so it should work. when your done converting you will have a video TS file probably on the C drive. then you burn it with nero recode. try the free trial first and if it works either buy it or get a crack file. (not Recommended)

P.S this should work on Mac i am not sure check with some of the senior members

VSO divx to dvd is not available for MAC.
Nero recode does not burn dvd's, and it doesn't work on a MAC either.
The ONLY good software for video work on a MAC is FfmpegX.

Thnx alot folks... I downloaded the ffmpegx n it wrks quite well. It takes a long time tho to convert these files. Wht can i do to make the process quicker. Do i need a faster comp or more space, or sumthng along those lines. Well, theres alot fr me to learn n intake, but im on my way. Oh by the way, i downloaded a movie tht is 2hrs 20min long which does not fit on th 4.7 gb dvd+r. is there n e way to make it fit, i wld hate to use two dvds, theyre not cheap. Thnx again.
