Hi Just got Easy cd creator 5 basic. There is lots of options which are disabled. Can I get at them. HOw can I upgrade to Platinum (i've got lots of Keygen, but there does not seem to be anywhere to enter these keys. Am I a fool for trying ? Mickey.p
Platinum version is a separate package these days and you can buy it from here: http://www.amazon.com/exec/obidos/ASIN/B00005AC56/afterdawncom ...rather than pirating stuff, buy stuff using the affiliate links on the sites you visit normally -- webmasters get small donation from you and you get the tool you need.
OK, I've also been considering the platinum version, but think again: - The Standard version comes with most features except the really jazzy Video CD and Photo CD creation etc. I would anyway use a better software like GNU VCD Imager or something which is way better than ECD for (S)VCDs - Its not necessary that the Platinum version will support your recorder. My friend had the same problem and could NOT update his version (despite there being an update available) - some problem with the updater. - $99 is too much to pay Keep it simple !
