Welcome to my easy yet satisfying exploit tutorial For this you are going to require a : PS2 MEMORY CARD WITH SPACE FLASH DISK (USB) DVD OR CD VERSION OF SM 1.8 First of all their are a few files needed for this exploit Download them here Independence utility http://www.sksapps.com/exploit/independencecompiler3.0.rar Memor card tool http://www.sksapps.com/exploit/Ps2SaveBuilder08x.zip First of all run your INDEPENDENCE compiler Insert your ps1 disk , no back ups allowed and select your cd drive and press GET an confusing number will appear , dont worry about this after this press add Step 2. this will say loader this is where you will browse the file you wish to launch of the trigger disk in my case i used Cog swap you can find many apps at www.sksapps.com . Skip step 3 and step 4 in step 5 you need to chose your selected region if its europe its bed data - pal and America is ntsc- bad data . go down to output format and choose XPS now press start , after finished it will tell you where it has saved Now its time to open up save builder , Once has loaded press FILE / OPEN and choose C:AUSDIGITAL which is were your xps saved. open the xps file and there will appear there will appear 4 files leave all the options alone. Select all of these files and press extract , extract them wherever you like . it will say not used , you are not to worry about this , leave it alone now press save close save builder , now open my documents and make a new folder called BEDATA-SYSTEM if your in pal, BADATA-SYSTEM (has to be capitals) if your in ntsc now place the four files you extracted in this folder , move the folder to your flash disk , now make a new folder in your flash disk and call it SWAPMAGIC (capitals) and put Uluanch in to this folder , Uluanch can be downloaded on the site i mentioned earlier rename this programe to SWAPMAGIC.ELF (capitals) your now ready to go insert your usb in ps2 put swap magic in and reset it will load up a white screen press circle , now go down until you get to MASS: and in there you will see a folder called BEDATA-SYSTEM press r1 and press copy folder , now press select and go into MC0: in this file press R1 again and press MC PASTE , overite it and wollahh , Insert your ps1 disk and watch it go!!1 any questions below

I have to wonder also, because if you already have swap magic, no need for an exploit, you can just download smboot.zip from the swap magic site and load elf files directly to mc or usb with Swap Magic.
