can someone please help me, i have a copy of vcd with nol instructions, and i would like to download films and put them on c.d.s when i bought the software, i did not know it was a copy with no instrcutions, so i do not know what to do, i have downloaded lord of the rings from kazaa, and it is stored in my shared folder, but i do not know what to do next thank you bev_daviesuk@hotmail.com
You could just watch it on your pc or seeing as you have kazaa, you could d/load nero.Nero 5 point something is the newest one I think. It has a vcd thing in it.Compile a cd using your lord of the rings file and it will encode it on to disk and you can watch it on some dvd players.Only you will need a few disks.Dont know of this is any help.I am also new to this but i have played about a bit with things.
I think basically it makes the information readable on another format. If you get nero, all you do is start it up,go to compile a cd,then other cd formats, then video cd.There's a wizard which will take you through it.Then its just a case of dragging the files accross and goto burn.It will auto encode it for u.Good luck.
Don't ever use Nero's encoder. It produces horrible quality. Use TMPGEnc instead. Download TMPGEnc from: http://www.afterdawn.com/software/video_software/video_tools/tmpgenc.cfm
After clicking on the link, select secondary location. I had a problem downloading recently and dRD (thanks) suggested this and it worked. Just click on the link a couple of lines up from this comment, select secondary location, download. Follow the articles here: http://www.afterdawn.com/articles/ if you need more help! P.
sorry to bother you again, i have downloaded it it says for 30 days free trail, but when i go back to main screen i can not find in in programes, and i do not know how to use it without instructions, please help, i am not a good computer worker
Simply run the TMPGEnc file from the folder you saved the program to. Also make sure you unzip the files first.
