EB Games, Gamestop, Toys R US Preorder?????

Well my eb games when they preordered they opened at 8 and when i called the lady is like if you want one now get here right now. Im prolly gonna get to my toysrus around 7. If not early because its an hour away but no traffic. But we'll see i cant wait tho.

 

i've called a few toysrus's around the toronto area and they all said they already did pre orders. does anyone know which ones around toronto that has yet to do pre orders??

 

@jtan189 Its for pre-ordering not the actual system itself if it was the actual system then I would be camping around the same time as you.

@sukhvail I used to live around toronto myself intell I moved afew months ago. Anyways toys R us took pre-orders a long time ago in canada but America is taking them on sunday....

there goes my chance of getting two. i guess i'll be at bb at midnite nov.17th. since im going with one other person, i can only get 1 console since we're going to take turns in line. if we ended up getting two consoles, ppl are gunna think one of us cut line and i dont want to be in that situation

 

Well im going to leave around 5am and going to be arriving there prolly around 6 and they open at 10. It sounds risky but im pretty sure ill be alright. Well guys lets talk about who got what tommorow. Good luck all hope u get em.

 

i just read an article saying people were already lining up for the ps3 preorder at toys r us opening hour today, so i can imagine how launch is gunna be. imagine seeing a line of starved and beaten looking adults who had been waiting 5 days before the launch.. i hope its not like that or i'll be waiting. i dont have a ride yet out to toys r us so i dunno if ill make the preorder.

 

guys dont forget that its gone be 2 consoles that day so think about it lol its gone be a pre-order (for the blank) and pre-orders for the ps3 so the line will be long but.. it should b 50/50 just dont forget about that if you see a big line then normal and say a well I missed out lol Im thinkin its not gone be two lines seperate they all gone be in the same line so maybe since its 2 pre-orders from 2 different consoles your chances might be better since some wont be there for the Ps3

 

isnt eacho store getting like not more than 10 or 20 consoles?? So why should there be a long line if the first 10 or 20 ppl will make the pre order? Doesnt makes sense to me.

 

Ok well I'll be at my walmart waiting for ps3 and wii. I got to my toysrus at 5:30am and there were a huge group of people who were there from 7pm last night. It was bs when we got there the employees walked out not looking at us then came back 4hrs later. There were on 4 ps3's and 7 wii's. Hmm didn't the employees get first dibs. It's gonna be tough guys to get a hold of these precious gaming systems.

 

Hello All , Happened to drive by my Toys R Us this morninig about 90 min. before opening and there were about 50 people in line. i live in colorado . it looked like they had been there a while. i thought if there were only 5 or 10 i would wait , but 50 .....no way!!! thats crazy ....looks like i'll wait for the next wave or second generation of ps3's .....just an update from my part of the states...unjust

 

i got there a little before 4 am because they said they open at 11. but i guess they opened at 9. i was number 20-something. there were 15 wiis and 6 ps3's. i got the shaft, no preorder for me. met some funny and/or interesting people though.. one guy walked there drunk and he talked alot. so at around 5 the openers came and gave out "iou"'s to the people in the front on the line. the people in the front of the line were all the ps3's..damn rednecks planing for ebay shafting me out of fun. it suprised me how many people were there for a wii, but probably cuz they knew their would be so few ps3 most people stayed home.


it has beeen decided by me and friends that we will begin camping with a tent and all needed materials at closing on the 15th. i wont be suprised if someone is in front of me even.

 

Thats to bad. If you were the 50 th costumer why would you wait? Like some people say they saw tons of people waiting outside thats stupid only the first few people would get one. But if you were 20th like you said then I think I would have waited to then.....

 

i was hoping more people wanted wii's or were just chilling, but i guess not. im not taking chances on the 15th. i'll head to the mall around 5 and hang out till best buy closes periodically checking to see if other people are lining up. if anyone does im going early becasue im not gunna be farther than 5th place. f*** that.

 

Oh yeah good point people were in for the wii's too could you have gotten the chance to pre-order the Wii or were they all sold out too?

 

Ok what do you guys think of people holding other spots for other people? There was a group of 9 people in front one group of 7 that knew each other and 2 people. I guess they were there since 7pm last night. But all of them at one time literally drove away and came back in line. You think line spot holding fine with tons of people?

 

It shouldent be allowed but hey what can you do about it, right?

 

but what if you really had to go to the washroom and you were with some1 else?? wouldn't it make sense to go to the wr and rejoin the person afterwards??

 

If there's 2 friends camping out, I don't see anything wrong with one holding the line for the other when the other one goes to the bathroom, coffee, whateevr.

more than 2 is just wrong. morally.

Yea I got to toy r us around 7 am... i was like 25th in line and ofcourse i knew that there was no way i was going to get a wii or ps3 so I talked to the first people for the ps3 and they said they were there since FRIDAY NIGHT!!! Tent and all.

oddly, there was another waiting line for some new elmo or something.
