EB Games, Gamestop, Toys R US Preorder?????

I think the best bet would be to start periodically checking the front of the store starting on the 14th. I personally don't want to be 1st, I would loove to be in top 5, but top 10 is also cool (I'm pretty sure circuit city and best buy are both getting more than 10 units! RIGHT?). So anyways, when you see the first people, go home, pack some stuff like water and lots of coffee, take a lawn chair, your PSP and go freeze your ass off.

 

Damn school. If it weren't for school I'd be able to start camping out on the 14th.

 

i've been doing alot of research and when the ps2 launch there were 500k units, and each best buy had around 80-100 on average. i also found someone talking about their best buy's owner says they are expecting an average of 60 consoles. if every store stocking ps3's had 60 consoles or close, that totals over 66,000 retailers having that many. dont be scared to be 30 guys back in line. any more than 50 and you are pushing your luck. it all depends on location really.

man I hope that it does mean we will get less consoles because people who pre-ordered will be pissed so if they go 80,000 just think if we get 400,000 lol that would suck even more !

@face- i really want to be one of the first ppl so i don't think that 15hrs is that bad, especially considering i live very close to toronto. however, i'm going to ask my sis to periodically check and if no 1 is there, then i guess i have more time to sleep before getting into line.

 

i live in a town of about 10,000. How early do you think i should start camping out at walmart in order to be top 5?

 

uh how wealth is your town... Like my town is full of nubs so Its not a prob. But yeah what I would do is just spawn camp it. Like stand in the gaming section play 360 untill you see ppl then get next to that case and wait like a mother!

Well I got pre-orders but yeah my wally world is 24/7. But I would just stand right by the case. Where you know they will be.

I have 24 hour Target but not near me I think most peoples best changes are Best Buy from what I read they will have the most either more than or about the same as Eb.gamestop had . But if you have a small city walmart and Target might be a good chance but they wont have more then Best Buy but.. Best buy is gone be packed like hell . I also was thinkin about goin to target or a low key store, even though they might not have as much

 

Thing is I would own about any body in a fight that games... So I'm not worried about that.
