EB Games, Gamestop, Toys R US Preorder?????

I shall dress up a mannequin and put him in a sleeping bag (with a hat) and at around 5am 6am when the ppls are a sleep I will secretivly switch places with the mannequin and claim my ps3! Am I smart or what? feal free to rip this idea off, if you havent thought of it urself.

well, the freaks in my town performed that stunt, by sleeping outside for the 360!

 

no sleeping for me. im not risking my safety and my ps3.

 

Yeah really if you fall asleep you may loose your spot the next day. If soemone tried to steal my ps3 I would kick his ass. And if I couldent I would phone people up to help me out lol.

 

Look guys the best thing to do is come with a group of people not by yourself...My friend and i going to rotate shifts we going to start thurday morning @ 1am....I get the first shift..with my blockburner with me also.

 

Yeah I will probably go in a group as as well. But I dont mind not sleeping I can go a day without sleeping.

damn I think if I did camp I might be able to get one since im a nighthawk so maybe I should ,I can stay up for 24 hours easy

 

Yeah I dont find that hard not to fall asleep. Especially since their are going to be people all around me.

 

I just called the closest gamestop. They said they'll be accepting preorders starting early tomorrow for $100 down. It's too bad I won't be able to make it there (it's a quite a bit aways) until at least saturday. I don't think I'm going to preorder. Camping sounds more fun. How much longer can it really be if you don't preorder or camp though? When do you think they'll (gamestop) have enough so that you can just pop in and buy one?

 

Has any other Gamestops out there Confirm that they will start taking preorders tomorrow?

Well if you are in a good postion when camping (like near the front of the line) then you are garenteed one on the first day pretty much. But pre-ordering you are guaranteed to get one but you may not getit right away.

 

If your gamestop is taking preorders tomorrow, please list your City/State. Also, what happens if you preorder, and go to pick up on the 17th and there are none left?...can you get your deposit back, or do you have to wait to get more in?

 

That is the problem with pre-ordering you may not get it right away. Although I heard if you pre-order you can go in front of everyone in the line and get it right away instead of waiting in the line. But if you go to late you may not get ps3 on the 17th.

Ok I am calling my Game Stop and Eb Games tommorow first thing. I'll let you guys know what's up with both of them. Either way I am camping at a rural area walmart ne how and will be gauranteed one ne ways. I went there last year at 3pm the after noon before no one was there til 6 all kids waiting for their parents to get out of work and bring em. This time school night+plus working parents. Ill be there at 1pm with snowboard clothes on and will be set. Do you think the date is still official? It seems kind of off.

Ok its official if you guys see this thread tonight gamestop is preordering tommorow 10.10.2006. If you look at the site under ps3 its there. Ok about preordering they said this could end in 10 mins. Is there a store limit or national limit on how many can be preordered? Im hoping i can preorder over phone but whoo knowz. I am calling every hour. They prolly open at 9 tho. So from 8-9 im gonna try tho.
