Hi everyone, first time here. I'm just getting into dvd and video editing and such and this message board looks great. I have a question that seems to be related to this forum, yet I cant seem to find the answer, maybe someone can help me.
For now as a start, all I want to do is simply cut a section out of a DVD movie im watching, and save it. I just cant seem to find the answer to how to do this.
Thanks in advance for any help.

Also, I like to use DVD Shrink to save a brief 1 or 2 minute scene from a movie. This is a very quick and easy way to save a scene from a DVD.

Use DVD shrink's Re-Author mode to set start and stop points. Open your DVD with DVD Shrink, then select Re-author. Drag Title 1 over to the left side "DVD structure" Window. Then click on the left and right arrow icon above the word "Size". Use the Start and End frame to select the begining and end point of the portion of the movie you want to save. Click OK, then Backup. DVD Shrink will then backup just that part of the movie.

If you want frame-accurate editing use VideoReDo.
