Hi there. I have some .wmv and .avi vids of girls dancing and I want to change the soundtracks. Is there software (free) that will do this? Thx in advance.
VirtualDub for the AVI. VirtualDub with the WMV plugin for the .wmv file. For the AVI video clip, run VirtualDub. Load/drag the AVI file onto the window. Click 'Video' - 'Direct Stream Copy'. Click 'Audio' - 'Audio from other file' and load the new .mp3 track. Click 'File' - 'Save as AVI'. For the .wmv file, you must install the WMV plugin. After installing the plugin, run VirtualDub and load the .wmv video file. Click 'Audio' - 'Audio from other file' and load the new .mp3 track. The video now has to be saved as an .avi file. Click 'Video' - 'Full processing mode'. 'Compression' and choose a codec - preferably XviD or FFDSHOW. Click 'File' - 'Save as AVI'. http://www.afterdawn.com/software/video_software/video_tools/virtualdub.cfm http://home.comcast.net/~fcchandler/Plugins/WMV/index.html http://www.afterdawn.com/software/video_software/codecs_and_filters/xvid.cfm http://www.afterdawn.com/software/video_software/codecs_and_filters/ffdshow.cfm
