A quick and easy question on the newer layout of Nero Vision. Editing headers and footers and the usual foregrounds and backgrounds have been made hard to find. Who designs this stuff? I went to the online manual and still didn't see an easy way of making simple title changes. I have used Vision Express 3 for many years. If there is no improvement in the actual functionality of the Vision program, I'll go back to the old one. I would also request any recommendations on open source replacements (with free upgrades) for the Vision program. I'd like to able to use a whole suite of open source software for this. Currently using AVI Recomp to recode content. Also Decrypter and Shrink. cheers.
I assume you want to customize the menu, so select Customize to get advanced options. Some basic functions can be done in standard mode. Select the text/item you want to change by clicking on it. Note that usually you will end up with the box around the text selected and that is not used to change the text. When you have the text/item selected, the menu items (properties) on the right-hand panel will appear and you can change colors or fonts. You must repeat this for every separate line of text. ie: if there are 5 chapters listed, each must be edited separately. Remember there are multiple items to edit: -the background picture (which can be changed to a color, for example) -the title box -the text in the title box -the chapter box -the text in the chapter box You can drag these items around or use the menu items to adjust location.
This shouldn't be that hard. Please this format: Start > Nero > Make a movie > >Make a dvd > add files > select file > then what? I don't want to edit the movie I don't want to import export anything. I want to change the menu Most of the layout from previous editions hasn't changed that much. Why is this such a struggle?
