I have a large number of VCR tapes with old TV series on them, I want to convert them to DVD. I have a DVD recorder which I can use to record them but they almost all have commercials. I have been recording them on DVD+RW and then copying them to my PC. Here, at last, is my question, quote What type of software is availabe to let me edit the files,(remove the commercials) on my PC and then write them to DVD+R? /quote All the editing software I have found wants the files to be in Mpeg or Avi format, but my copies are in what I call DVD format, extensions like .bup and .ifo.
You can use DVD Shrink and then the start and end frames to edit.
