I am a primary school teacher trying to make a movie with the children and have used a mini DVD camera to record them and when finalising the DVD and saving it it has created .IFO, .BUP and VOB files. I have use of an Apple Notebook which uses iMovie and/or use of windows laptops with Movie Maker. How do I edit the files to create a new movie? Really need help!! Thanks a million.
DVD doesn't lend itself to easy editing. This isn't free but it has a trial period. http://guide-how.com/how-to-remove-unwanted-scenes-from-dvd-movie-without-re-encoding If you want to use WMM to edit your DVD, you have to convert the DVD to a single .mpg file first. You can do this using freeware Vob2Mpg. http://www.videohelp.com/tools/VOB2MPG Edited for clarity.
