Editing movies with subtitles

    I have a harry potter movie which has subtitles in Japanese can anyone tell me how to remove those subtitles before burning the movie?

    I dont think you can there hard coded into the movie

    i saw a program rip something about taking out subtitles before burning it. does anyone know about this program and has ever used it?

    the name of the program is subrip i think maybe it can help me however i am not so sure about that so does anyone have any other aadvice
