Editing read only MPG files

    I want to edit a read only MPG files but my software (studio 7) wont let me open it, any ideas how I can get in to it?

    Well you cant edit a read only file. Why don't you just right click it and select archive

    If you unselect read-only and select archive, the file will be writable.
