My HD crapped out and I was wondering if you have to have the eeprom backed up from the HD to make a new HD work. Will istalling a modchip and an auto installer such as Slayer make it work? Or is the eeprom not on the HD, but on the motherboard?
Ok I dont understand the first part of your post. Are you saying you have your epprom backed up on to your computer ? Or are you asking for a epprom ?
