Hi people, I have just softmodded my xbox using the Splintercell linux trick (Evox dashboard), to be on the safe side i want to create a backup of the xbox hard drive, i've read lots of tutorials on this but i cant fully understand it, I have xboxhdm v1.6, when i ftp i have the following listed - C:\ Fonts SID xboxdash.xbe E:\Backup then two folders Mod MS I'm really stuck on finding the eeprom guys, how do i find it?? thanks in advance J

well if u softmodded ur xbox, then you should have a dashboard, i know evox lets you back up your files. If you back up your files with that it creates a folder in ur e drive and its called backup(go figure). Anyway, your eeprom.bin should be in there
Did you use the NTSC SC gamesave exploit? If so, the EEPROM backup is situated INSIDE the SC save in E\UDATA\21585554\000000000000\backup That's where the gamesave Evox saves the first backup it makes in. You can FTP in and retrieve it from there.
Hi guys, Thanks for all the help guys I really appreciate it, and the link for the xboxhdm file, I am using the Splintercell pal-uk Mc hack, but is the Eeprom named Eeprom or is named something else??? cheers J
it should be eeprom.bin thatswhat mine was,on the Evo x dash click backup eeprom it will go into E/backup ftp to and drag it from the xbox it should be about 256k in size alright....
Thanks for all the help guys I, I reversed the softmod and started from scratch and finally found the Eeprom!! god i feel dumb..!!
