As most of you know, EGBrowser is the only official web browser for the PlayStation 2. It's been released for quite some years now, unfortunately never officially outside Japan.

I would really want to know if anyone has got EGBrowser to work in Europe/America? I have a strong desire to try it out!

Anyway, the EGBrowser CD can be downloaded here. It's the Japanese EGBrowser, but all the menus are translated into English apparently. I urge you to give it a try at least!

Basically, I was just wondering that if I should now burn those .bin and .cue files to a DVD disc, would I technically be able to run it on my PS2?

Go ahead and burn them and give it a go if you have a modded PS2.
You can let us know if it works or not then.

No, I don't have a modded PS2, but Memor32/Memento can get basically anything running on the PS2 without ANY kind of modding.

Yeah, my mistake, I'll just burn it onto a CD-R, which I have.

Too bad it didn't work in the NTSC region. No reason to think it would work in the PAL regions, but at the very least I'll give it a try.

But at the moment I still haven't bought the Memor32 (lacking money right now...), so someone might want to try it out before me.

Ok had a chance to look at this.
I downloaded the this one, its in ISO format, but burn it to CD using imgburn.

It does remind me of when I got my Dreamcast in 1999 and I believe
its made by planetbrowser as well.
I just loaded it with SM 3.8 CD and it loaded fine, then you have to enter in your ISP info etc.
I didn't take it any further as I didn't have my ethernet connected but am sure it would work fine.
I have heard its very slow though and it doesn't interest me much to browse the internet on the PS2, as my computer is way faster.
    Probably fine in its day.
If you were still interested to get this too work with memor32, one would first have to convert the CD ISO to DVD ISO, then you could try to patch it or just load it with the SM 3.8 elf file on the memor32 card. ( you would have to read my blog profile to learn more about that)

    Well, that's good news alright!

I'm definitely going to test it out as soon as I get my hands on that Memor32!
