I put songs on my iPod from a computer I don't currently have access to (a Mac). I attached my iPod to a different computer (a PC), and I have the latest iTunes on both computers. I didn't run iTunes on the second computer before running iTunes, and when I ran it, it didn't recognize that there was any iPod there. I can't eject my iPod, because it still says "Do not disconnect." Also, my computer crashed with the iPod still in it and it shut down. I rebooted it and it's working fine, but iTunes still doesn't recognize it. How can I eject my iPod? Thanks.

Maybe it's on hardrive mode? Check in my computer and right click on the ipod and click restore.

Thank you! I already got it fixed though, by reseting it (pushing play/pause and the center button) and then taking the USB cord out.

    Hey Random25...

For future reference: unless this has changed, iPods do Mac or PC but not both.... you can't run an iPod on Mac and PC at the sane time... it formats for one or the other only...
